Zavaldi 2-Year Limited Warranty Policy
This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Zavaldi provides warranty service for its mechanical timepieces, ensuring clarity and transparency for our customers.
1. Warranty Period and Coverage
Zavaldi extends a limited warranty for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

Coverage: This warranty covers your Zavaldi timepiece against any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship that manifest under normal use. This includes, but is not limited to:

The mechanical automatic movement.

The proper assembly and fitting of the dial, hands, and indices.

The integrity of the case construction and water resistance seal.

Proof of Purchase: A valid dated proof of purchase (such as the original sales receipt, invoice, or Warranty Card included with the watch) is required to establish the warranty period and eligibility for service.
2. What the Warranty Covers
The 2-year warranty ensures the watch is free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and material.
Should a defect covered by this warranty be found, Zavaldi will, at its discretion, either:

Repair the defect using new or expertly refurbished parts; or

Replace the timepiece with an identical or functionally equivalent model if repair is not possible.
3. What the Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)
This limited warranty does not cover:

External Components & Wear: The watch crystal (glass), strap, bracelet, crown (knob), or any other external components, as damage to these parts is typically caused by normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, or external impacts.

Water Damage Due to Misuse: Damage resulting from use exceeding the watch's 5ATM (50-meter) water resistance rating, or damage caused by operating the crown/pushers while wet or submerged, or if the crown was not properly secured by the wearer before water contact.

Accidental Damage: Damage caused by impact, crushing, extreme temperatures, magnetic fields, or any physical or accidental abuse.

Loss or Theft: The loss or theft of the complete watch or its components.

Unauthorized Service: Damage resulting from service, repairs, or modifications performed by anyone other than an authorized Zavaldi service technician. Opening the watch case by an unauthorized party will immediately void this warranty.

Normal Maintenance: Routine cleaning and servicing of the watch (though periodic maintenance is recommended for all mechanical timepieces).
4. How to Obtain Warranty Service
4.1. Contact and Authorization

Contact Zavaldi: Before sending your watch, please contact our Client Support team via the Contact Us link on our website to describe the issue. To expedite your claim, please provide photos of the issue and your warranty card or original receipt.

Authorization & Instructions: Our team will assess the reported issue and provide you with an Authorization Number and specific shipping instructions. Do not send your watch without prior authorization.
4.2. Shipping and Logistics

Shipping to Zavaldi (Customer Responsibility): The owner is responsible for safely and securely packaging the timepiece and for all costs associated with shipping the watch to Zavaldi. We strongly recommend using a traceable and insured shipping method, as Zavaldi is not responsible for watches lost or damaged during inbound transit.

Shipping from Zavaldi (Zavaldi Responsibility): If the repair or replacement is covered under this 2-year warranty, Zavaldi will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced timepiece back to the customer via a reputable carrier.

Non-Warranty Repairs: If the watch is sent in for service and the required repairs are determined to be not covered by the warranty (see Exclusions in Section 3), the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the watch both to and from Zavaldi, in addition to the repair costs.
4.3. Required Documentation
Please include the following with your shipment:

The watch itself.

The original dated proof of purchase (receipt or Warranty Card).

The provided Authorization Number.

A brief, written description of the defect.
5. Disclaimer
THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY ZAVALDI. ZAVALDI HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ZAVALDI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
